The reed maker's friend, profilers really help create consistent reeds, and take some of the angst out of the process. However they are a bit costly, so we have 3 profilers for you to try, and learn how to use them properly.

We have a variety of different shapes and tools to learn how to shape cane. Through this you can learn how shapes can impact sound, tuning, and ease of playing on your oboe or Cor Anglais.

It feels that there are so many staple options to choose from, that it can be a little overwhelming. We will discuss what the different numbers on each staple mean, the makes of staples, decide for yourself if silver or gold plate really does make a difference, and is there an impact of metal staples over cork.
